Day one, my official first step toward my goals..

Today we went and grocery shopped for the 7 Day Jump Start part of the diet plan. I do not like being told what to eat and how often but I am very happy that I like everything on the menu. The only challenge would be eating all the food. There is so much to eat! I am usually a once a day eater and rarely snack. I know this is a big no-no and my doctor always gives me the “You don’t eat enough and your body is storing everything” speech. So my diet goal for the week is making myself eat ALL the food in hopes that my body learns that eating multiple times is okay and doesn’t have to make me sick. I got a late start to the day so i started with dinner and will do the breakfast, lunch and snacks on the 8th day. May not be exactly what the plan wants me to do, but sometimes life gets in the way of things you want to do. And if it is all within the 168 hours that 7 days consists of what’s the big deal?  Tonight’s dinner.. Citrus Seafood Over Spinach. Very simple to make (all of the food is).  It was pretty good, the fish could have been a little better but we had an oven snafu and had to finish it in the microwave. Microwaved fish has a funny texture. Lesson learned.

I did my first work out with Les Mills Pump this afternoon. Most of the first day is introduction and showing you good form, but the last 25 minutes was quite a workout. I am in the worst shape of my life and have zero balance now! You should have see me with the lunges, I was just happy I didn’t fall on my face my balance is so bad. So far I would give this an A, I am sore, but in the right places and in the right ways. 🙂
